Jill Smith is a Lakeland local who is passionate about bringing yoga to the people. This mother of two turned to yoga after experiencing postpartum depression after her second child was born, claiming yoga to be her saving grace. Though she started her journey in the nutrition arena as a Holistic Health Coach, she soon dove into studying and practicing yoga, meditation and quantum healing. She completed her yoga training with The Jaguar Path, a program that merges Shamanism healing arts with yoga and while Jill loves teaching yoga, she loves even more to empower others with the realization that they can heal their lives. To her, it's all about getting people connected to their breath, getting them to slow down, and getting them to tune into their bodies. Her students describe her as playful, loving and intuitive in regards to their needs. Her class is suitable for all levels. She will provide yoga mats to any who need one. She loves for people who are new to yoga to have a safe place to give it a try and she is excited to share this practice with you!
