Ladies and Gentlemen, The Jeep Has Landed

The Poor PorkerComment

Sometimes you come upon an unexpected treasure and have to take it home with you. And we did.

And we turned it into a planter...

And filled with all kinds of goodies.

The space at 801 Main is really coming together! We're working on landscaping, which is a ton of work (and so much fun!). We can't wait to show it off! The space will officially open on November 7 -- mark your calendars!

Past, Present, Future

The Poor PorkerComment

We've come a long way since our first booth! From our first week in a two-person booth to today's bigger, more permanent location, we've loved every minute of sharing our beignets, chicory coffee, stories, and smiles with you.

The Poor Porker is growing, and it's all thanks to you! As we build our dream and expand into the space at 801 Main, we look forward to filling bellies, making friends, and loving the Lakeland community just like we have for the past few years.

The Jungmaven and Poor Porker Chicory Tank

wearsThe Poor PorkerComment

We are excited to officially launch our first apparel collaboration. Working with Jungmaven we have created this beautiful tank that is made in Los Angeles from 55% hemp blended with 45% organic cotton. It features a screen print of a chicory flower created by our very own Lakeland-based illustrator Elizabeth Hults and has been coffee over dyed to give the tanks a subtle color.

We love bringing you items that are sustainable and made in the USA. Jungmaven is no exception. They are working to raise awareness about hemp with the ultimate goal of legalizing hemp for industrial farming in the US. Hemp requires little water and no pesticides to grow. It nourishes the land and scrubs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As an added bonus Jungmaven’s t-shirts feel just like your favorite old broken-in tee.

Quantities are limited so pop on over to the shop and grab one today!

Campfire Coffee and Mugs

ChicoryThe Poor PorkerComment

We are so proud to bring you our Campfire Coffee and signature enamel mugs. This is such a dream come true for us.

Campfire coffee starts with our proprietary smoking process using organic chicory root and hickory, We then grind and blend our smoked chicory with freshly roasted fair trade organic coffee.  We work in small batches to make sure the ingredients are always fresh and the batches remain consistent.

Our custom enamel mugs are hand made in Europe by a manufacturer who uses WWII era machinery. Each steel mug is hand-dipped in enamel. The rim and handle, the areas that get the most wear, receive a second dipping to ensure strength and durability. Our Campfire Coffee logo is then baked into the enamel for a seamless finish. These mugs will be enjoyed for a lifetime!

You can pick these up at our booth or order online.
